lyrics

ALL ABOARD

I like to travel on the train
And see the life passing by the window
Leave the City at the rhythm of our heartbeat
And the clouds slide slow over the sky

I like to stop in every town
And see who is goin' up and down
What kind of shoes, high-heels or boots
Or wich kind of book is in your hand

So if you're thinking of going somewhere else
I tell you to pick up the train
With the rhythm of a heartbeat, streched on your seat
Lookin' trough the window how the season changes

Once on the Amtrak to Memphis,
I met somebody on the train
Was a well dressed fellow, with his note book and his pen
When he asked me for my ticket I could just escape

We ran til the last empty wagon
and he put his hands under my dress
I closed my eyes eyes in Lousiana
And I was back in Texas when I opened them again.

So if you're thinking of going somewhere else...
