I got a rocket in my pocket and a roll in my walk So, baby don't fuss me with that North Forty talk There ain't nothing you can tell me I don't already know I got a rocket in my pocket and I'm raring to go A-Let's go some place so we can rock a bit I got a rocket in my pocket and the fuse is lit Well, two-in-one's polish and three-in-one's oil A lot of lid-flipping makes my bad blood boil I didn't come here to listen, so cut the scene I got a rocket in my pocket and a roll in my jeans Let's go some place so we can rock a bit I got a rocket in my pocket and the fuse is lit Well, better tune in and get my signal right Or there'll be no rocking tomorrow night Ain't nothing you can tell me I don't already know I got a rocket in my pocket and I'm raring to go A-let's go some place so we can rock a bit I got a rocket in my pocket and the fuse is lit

Same Old You 02:39
So here you are In your borrowed car Kicking rocks around Looking at your shoes It's the same old you Tell me where you been And where you're going to Where were you last night Boy listen up when I'm talking to you It's the same old you Another lonely night With that same old whiskey morning It's the same old you When you get to drinking The same old you When you're on the town The same old you In church on Sunday Getting high when the sun goes down Well this time I done some thinking And I think I'm done with you Cause until I get to leaving It's just the same old me too Well your mama's gonna cry her eyes There ain't gonna be no wedding day What's she gonna say? When I tell her how I had no choice The same old you couldn't even raise your voice And ask me to stay I wouldn't anyway So you can keep your ring And I'll keep my daddy's name It's the same old you When you get to drinking The same old you When you're on the town The same old you In church on Sunday Getting high when the sun goes down This time I done some thinking And I think I'm done with you Cause until I get to leaving It's just the same old me too Cause until I get to leaving It's just the same old me too

Losing End 03:25
I went into town to see you yesterday but you were not home. So I talked to some old friends for a while before I wandered off alone. It's so hard for me now But I'll make it somehow, Though I know I'll never be the same. Won't you ever change your ways, It's so hard to make love pay When you're on the losing end, And I feel that way again. Well, I miss you more than ever, since you've gone I can hardly maintain. Things are different round here every night, my tears fall down like rain. It's so hard for me now But I'll make it somehow, Though I know I'll never be the same. Won't you ever change your ways, It's so hard to make love pay When you're on the losing end, And I feel that way again.

Well a hard headed woman, a soft hearted man been the cause of trouble ever since the world began. Oh yeah, ever since the world began a hard headed woman been a thorn in the side of man. Now Adam told to Eve, "Listen here to me, don't you let me catch you messin' round that apple tree." Oh yeah, ever since the world began a hard headed woman been a thorn in the side of man. Now Samson told Delilah loud and clear, "Keep your cotton pickin' fingers out my curly hair." Oh yeah, ever since the world began a hard headed woman been a thorn in the side of man. I heard about a king who was doin' swell till he started playing with that evil Jezebel. Oh yeah, ever since the world began a hard headed woman been a thorn in the side of man. I got a woman, a head like a rock. If she ever went away I'd cry around the clock. Oh yeah, ever since the world began a hard headed woman been a thorn in the side of man.

Hound Dog 02:49
You ain't nothing but a hound dog Been snoopin' 'round the door You ain't nothing but a hound dog Been snoopin' 'round my door You can wag your tail But I ain't gonna feed you no more You told me you was high class But I could see through that Yes, you told me you was high class But I could see through that And daddy I know You ain't no real cool cat You ain't nothing but a hound dog Been snoopin' 'round the door You're just an old hound dog Been snoopin' 'round my door You can wag your tail But I ain't gonna feed you no more You made me feel so blue You made me weep and moan You made me feel so blue Well you made me weep and moan 'Cause I'm looking for a woman All your lookin' for is a home You ain't nothing but a hound dog Been snoopin' 'round the door You ain't nothing but a hound dog Been snoopin' 'round my door You can wag your tail But I ain't gonna feed you no more

ADDED NOTE IN OCTOBER 9th, 2016

We found out today that Miguel "Buka", the man who offered his studio, equipment and time to record two of our albums, "Unplugged at Bop Street" and specially this one. He took care of turning the living room into a full session drums included. He did a lot for the music and the musicians in Valencia, and we will remember you and thank you wherever you are. As per today, this EP is dedicated to MIGUEL "BUKA", gone too soon, and to his family and friends.

Well, if you know us you will know by now that we are not partial about leaving music buried in tapes or hard drives without being heard. We understand the quest for perfection that many musicians seek by recording in the best studios, with the best gear available and looking for a modern and crispy production.

We are just not like that. First of all, we don´t have access to that kind of luxury, but we keep on writing songs and adding new covers to our always growing setlist and we record our music as we can, grabbing the chance as it passes by, on the spot and making the best out of it.

If you own an studio and fancy recording us and publishing us a record, you are most welcome to it, though for sure we´d have a go at the time of mastering the final mixes!

We love raw sound and we always record our albums playing live in the studio, without adding further overdubs, the music that we listen comes from Sun, Chess, King, Vocalion, Okeh and many other relics from the past on which you can hear very awful and poorly quality recorded sides that can flip your soul a thousand times. And you wouldn´t give a hot damn, I grant you that.

When we decided to record our album Rambler´s Romance in 2014 it was done entirely in six hours of work, seventeen tracks including nine of our originals that we captured in the studio of our personal Sam Phillips, the great Vicente Artal "Soni" of Caraband Productions and the album was a great success and opened lots of doors to us. It sold the first edition of 400 copies in a few months and now we are nearly finishing a second edition of 300 CD´s more.

But that was the second time around when we got it right. It was a first try in the studio of the groovy people of El Regreso Radio, where Miguel, host and tech of upcoming bands radio show "La Tela de Araña 2.0" (The Spider Web 2.0, hence the title of this EP) offered us his studio to make the recordings. We gathered together the whole band with six ambient dynamic microphones capturing the live session in a room not bigger than a living room. Those tapes remained in oblivion for a while and now, for popular demand we have decided to publish them in an EP, Digital and CD formats available.

Juan Carlos Mota (Jay Rambler) y Dani Dómino were the rhythm section of The Ramblers for a long time with plenty of great shows at our back in venues like Loco Club, Black Note or 16 Toneladas to mention a few and the band really rocked and rolled, with a tight sound and pulse, but we lacked some more tracks and for life matters we couldn´y put it together. So the session stayed dormant in a hard drive until today that we decided to rescue them.

With a MacBook and Audacity I polished a bit the tracks, applying some EQ to reduce the sound of the cymbals and snare, leveling them and passing them through a compressor and we are releasing now five of the songs of that session. Everything is recorded live and no overdubs have been added.

The sixth song, "Pirate Love" is one of our originals that was recorded at home, using an iPad with GarageBand, a Sony Stereo microphone and an iRig to connect electric guitar and bass to the device.

And we hope that you will enjoy this songs as we enjoyed playing them and recording it, it was a hell of a session and a ball of a good time!
