about

Sara wrote the lyrics and melody of this tune thinking about all the fakes and phonies that, disgracefuly, we have to deal with sometimes. Smiling faces with kniving hands and bitter tongue, watch out for them...they´re outthere...For the guitar parts inspiration came meanwhile listening to Scotty Moore´s superb work in The Sun Sessions of Elvis Presley.

lyrics

HYENNA'S SMILE

Once my daddy told me, girl you better just take care with the ones you meet, people use to lie, they're not what they say so you better be smart and don't show your real face.

Always bring your smile, also if you feel sad and don't let no one know the reason of your pain, because once they know they'll use it as a bomb, for when you feel good and they do not.

But I never learnt to wear a phony face, trying to show up like everything's ok because when I feel bad I can cry and cry and let the ones I love, take care of my heart.
