about

This song came to Sara one sunny morning that we were traveling by train with the kids, ready for a day out. She just sat down and started to watch the landscape through the window and a new tune was born. We decided to add the train gimmick along the reckless steel guitar to give the song a traveling kind of feeling. We hope you´ll enjoy listening as much as we did recording it!

lyrics

"All Aboard"

I like to travel on the train
And see the life passing by the window
Let the City at the rithem of a heartbeat
And the clouds slide slow over the sky

I like to stop in every town
And see who is goin' up and down
What kind of shoes
High-heels or boots
Or wich kind of book is in your hand

So if you're thinking of going somewhere else
I tell you to pick up the traían
With the rhythm of a heartbeat
Streched on your seat
Lookin' trough the window
How the season changes

Once on the Amtrak to Memphis
I meet somebody on the train
Was a well dressed fellow
With his note book and his pen
When he asked me for my ticket
I could just escape

We ran til the last empty wagon
And put his hands under my dress
I closed my eyes eyes in Lousiana
And I was back in Texas
When I opened them again.

So if you're thinking of going somewhere else
I tell you to pick up the traían
With the rhythm of a heartbeat
Streched on your seat
Lookin' trough the window
How the season changes
