about

The two songs included in this Single were recorded during the rehearsal sessions with the band for the recording of our then upcoming third album, "Unplugged at Bop Street" and we were still in the process of selecting the tunes for the album, that was going to be recorded live during a Radio Broadcast.

Things had to be tight because everything was going to be recorded live in one take so we did something that usually don't do: rehearsal the songs!! and for that matter we gathered together in the rehearsal room of a band of Puerto de Sagunto in which Javier Ortega plays the drums, The Sistemines, with Isidro Cintas (Isi Rockin) at the double bass.

Matt, Isi and Javier are the three of them natural from that town and were bandmates in the early 80s in different bands such as Los Teddy Terribles or Los Dalton. It was going to be the first time that they played together in nearly thirty years.

Once in the studio Nuria was there with Isi and she ended up playing some shakers and splashing backing vocals in Cry On, they gathered together sitting down around a hand held ZOOM Stereo Recorded and captured the session.

Most of the tracks included were later released as part of "Unplugged at Bop Street" and it made no sense to publish them again but we found these two jewels and thought of releasing them free in digital format for all of you, our dearest and loved audience, followers and haters. We hope that you all will enjoy them.

Included with the download is the artwork ready to print (24x12 cm) in High Resolution JPEG format, 250dpi.

Track Name: You Can Have My Husband (But Please, Don't Mess With My Man)
You can have my husband
But please don't mess with my man
You can have my husband
But please don't mess with my man
I'm telling all you women
I want you all to understand

Now, when I was with my husband he was really mean
But when I'm with my man he treats me like a queen

You can have my husband
But please don't mess with my man
I'm telling all you women
I want you all to understand

Now the money my husband made was for red beans and rice
My man gives me steaks, now ain't that nice?

You can have my husband
But please don't mess with my man
I'm telling all you women
I want you all to understand

the money my husband made was for red beans and rice
My man keeps me in steaks, now ain't that nice?

You can have my husband
But please don't mess with my man
I'm telling all you women
I want you all to understand

Yes. . . he's mine
Don't mess with him
Leave him alone!
Track Name: Cry On
Oh my tears
Are in vain
I just lost, lost
Lost my man
But in spite of all
The wrong he's done
I just a-cry on
I just a-cry on

But I still love him
With all my heart
Never, never baby
Said "I want to part"
But in spite of all
The wrong he's done
I just a-cry on
I just a-cry on

But maybe one day
Before long
You might decide
To come back home
But until then
I'll have no relief
You've got me livin' on
lonely street

All my tears
Are in vain
I just lost, lost
Lost my man
But in spite of all
The wrong he's done
I just a-cry on
I just a-cry on
